"The mentors were very knowledgeable, energetic and patient... The lessons captured the kids' attention, and the kids really enjoyed participating in all the activities."  -Camp Counselors, Chapel Hill, NC

"Many volunteer pursuits are done in the name of college admissions, but in ScienceDays, once you get involved, the kids become your motivation.  It is a very personal experience.  I started because I love science and helping others, but now it has become a bigger experience than that.  It physically connects us with the community...there is a bond between mentors that we all understand without directly talking about it, because we have experienced helping real people in something we love.  It has amounted to much more than we had ever hoped and will inevitably be an integral part of high school and beyond." - Rajlakshmi De, Northwest Guilford HS Chapter Director, 07-08
