Luci Duan, Class of 2010
Science has always presented itself as a great source
of interest for Luci, and it has been her favorite
subject since elementary school. She tutors
Geometry to students at Green Hope as part of an
after- and before-school Homework Center program.
Luci's other extracurricular activities include cross
country, speech and debate team in which she received
placements at several debate tournaments across the
state. She also participates in the Health Occupations
Students of America (HOSA) club, which helps
coordinate health-related events, such as Red Cross
blood drives and Relay for Life. In addition, she
serves as the 2007-2008 Key Club International
president, which is a service club dedicated to
improving the community. She also volunteers at at the
local hospital.
Michael Jin, Class of 2010
For Michael, an
interest in science and a love for working with kids
was what propelled him to join ScienceDays. He
is also currently in Beta, orchestra and various other
sports and academic teams as well such as wrestling,
Science Olympiad, Academic Decathlon and the Brain
Game. |
