| Through
the efforts of student volunteers, each chapter is
dedicated to providing kids with the opportunity to
engage in science beyond the standard classroom
experience. Founding a new ScienceDays chapter at your
college or high school can be a challenging yet greatly
rewarding task.
The national chapter
provides many teaching resources, including a budget to
cover costs of lesson supplies for the year, a book of
lesson plans, as well as a training manual for mentors.
In addition, the national chapter will try to send a
representative to your school during the year. Plans
are also underway for a summer leadership summit for
chapter directors to exchange wisdom and
experience.
